This is a wonderful place to go for fresh meat from really great people. I leave here feeling like I was just talking with family. I have mold allergies and bacteria that many never notice in meat they purchase from the grocery stores(even publix). It makes me super sick to the point I carry 2 epi pens. Massive variety of items: beef, pork, chicken, fish, shrimp, goat, lamb, rabbit, pheasant and more. All with no additives and no fillers. Items include hotdogs, vegetables, bread, spices and more. Prices are about the same as other supermarkets but the quality is so much better. They sell individual items, but also sell things by the freezer full! They have a drive thru window and can deliver to homes. They take EBT and are extremely polite and fun to chat with. Small mom and pop shops need our patronage to survive competition with mega chain stores. I remember my father shopping this same meat market 55 years ago. He loved this place and so do I.

I am Soooo excited! I just found out that Carroll's Meat Shopp will now deliver through UBER Groceries of course! But, to me that was a blessing straight from heaven above. As a retired Chef I think that local products from merchants like Carroll's Meat Shopp is an important resource for all consumers who are looking for quality goods. Although I'm not from Jacksonville, I've done my research and they have the "MEATS". They have freezer packages for Poultry, Pork, and Beef but more importantly I can get my absolute favorite thing on the planet! "Double Thick Sliced Bacon" with the Rind on! Wahoo... 💞

PS: When I saw the Slabs of Ribs that young lady was holding, I fell off my bed. I was beside myself. 🥰😍🤩🥳🥺

Yes, the prices are unbeatable and worth the drive. Mine was 30 miles away.

My order was filet mignon, pork chops, and a very good top sirloin. I asked Teresa if the butcher, Will to cut the bone off the chops and for the sirloin to be processed 3 times for my recipe of steak tartare. Will never blinked as he's very experienced.

Mr. Lee, the owner picked the sirloin to cut and processed it 3 times and he packaged the meat. Teresa and Mary complete Lee's experienced team.

Thank you for everything. My review includes a picture of plated steak tartare over arugula and watercress salad with balsamic vinaigrette with chopped Vidalia onion.
